Rehoboth Christian Church spearheads a comprehensive initiative to support immigrants in seamlessly integrating into the community. Our multifaceted program includes facilitating interpretation services, fostering socialization within the new culture, and assisting with essential shopping needs. Moreover, we are committed to empowering older women through English language education. To enhance accessibility, we provide dedicated community translators, ensuring newcomers can navigate vital services such as healthcare appointments, school meetings, obtaining G1 driving licenses, and accessing fundamental counseling services. Our holistic approach aims to empower and uplift individuals as they navigate their new lives in our community.

KEY COMPONENTS:
1. Cultural Integration Workshops: Our initiative includes workshops to assist immigrants in understanding and navigating the local culture, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
2. Language Acquisition for Elderly Women: We recognize the importance of English proficiency for older women. Our program provides tailored English language courses to empower them with effective communication skills. 3. Community Translators: : We have established a team of community translators to bridge language barriers, ensuring that immigrants can access vital services such as medical appointments, school meetings, and obtaining a G1 driving license. 4. Assisted Shopping Support: Our volunteers assist newcomers in their shopping endeavors, guiding them through local markets and stores to enhance their ability to meet daily needs independently. 5. Counseling Services: Basic counseling services are provided to address the emotional and psychological challenges that immigrants may face during their transition. This includes coping with cultural differences, homesickness, and stress management.REQUEST FOR FUNDING:
